General instruction in the use of Homeopathic medicines.
Important
All Homeopathic medicines have been prepared under precise laboratory conditions, and to ensure the maximum
benefit from treatment the following directions should be observed.
1. The tablets should be allowed to dissolve under the tongue or chewed, not swallowed whole with water.
The taste is not unpleasant. For young children, the tablets can be crushed between two spoons into a powder and
given directly into the mouth or dissolved into a little water.
2. Tablets should be handled as little as possible. Tip and tap the bottle gently to deposit the tablet in the up turned cap
from which it can be dropped into the tongue.
3. Do not take the tablets at meal times. They should be taken not less than half an hour before or one hour after meals.
4. Substances which have a strong odour or taste such as camphorated oil, menthol cough lozenges, peppermints, etc.
are liable to antidote Homeopathic medicines and should be avoided during treatment.
5. When treating simple everyday ailments it is recommended that the C6 potency is adequate for most conditions,
sometimes a higher potency such as a C30 is a better choice, particularly where there are acute and intense symptoms.
6. The dose to be given is two tablets for adults or one tablet for a small child or infant. Acute conditions: Two tablets
every two hours for six doses, then three times a day between meals for three days or as prescribed. Chronic
conditions: Two tablets three times a day between meals until relief is obtained or as prescribed. Fine granules
may be preferred in which case sufficient granules to cover the inside base of the cap should be given direct
onto the tongue or as prescribed.
7. Watch the response to each dose.
8. When improvement is evident, increase the interval between doses. Stop dosing when the condition is cleared.
9. If symptoms are somewhat increased (indicating that the medicine is doing it's work) postpone the next dose
until this increase or aggravation has passed.
10. Store the medicines in a well closed container. Store in a cool dark dry place away from strong smelling substances.
11. Medicines are best taken apart from food or drink. They should be dissolved on a clean tongue when the mouth
is free from effects of tobacco or strong flavoured toothpaste.
12. For more serious conditions it is strongly recommended that a qualified Homeopathic physician is consulted.
